Hard to Get – Savannah Burrows – 2020
Meet Savannah Burrows, Rising Santa Clarita Country Star
“DAD, THIS IS WHAT I WANT TO DO FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE! CAN I PLEASE TAKE GUITAR LESSONS?”
That’s what 8-year-old Savannah Burrows said to her dad as she pointed to Taylor Swift performing during her Fearless Tour in Los Angeles. Attending the concerts of Carrie Underwood, Blake Shelton, Keith Urban, Carly Pearce, Sara Evans, Hunter Hayes, Devin Dawson, Chris Lane, Diamond Rio, Dwight Yoakam, Kacey Musgraves and Kelsea Ballerini, have had a profound impact on Savannah’s commitment and passion for singing and songwriting.
Observing her role models onstage, Savannah was inspired to learn how to play guitar, mandolin, electric guitar, 12-string guitar, piano, ukulele inn order to write and perform original music.
In 2016 Savannah won the local 35th “Country Showdown” contest in her hometown of Santa Clarita, California.
From 2017 through the beginning of the pandemic, Savannah was the opening act for legendary artists such as Sara Evans, Carly Pearce, Devin Dawson, Diamond Rio, Hunter Hayes, Chris Lane, The Swon Brothers, Wilson Phillips, Peter Noone of Herman’s Hermits, Al Jardine of The Beach Boys, and 32 other artists.
Savannah enjoys sharing her music to support causes she believes in. She and her band were invited to play at a benefit concert at the Canyon Theatre to honor the first responders of the recent California wildfires. Savannah also performs for the annual American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life Concerts.
The Nashville music scene has embraced Savannah by continuing to invite her back to legendary venues such as “The Listening Room, Belcourt Taps, Cabana Taps, Main Street Music, Live Oak, Tin Roof, and The Commodore Grill, to name a few.
She feels very fortunate to have experienced these amazing opportunities and continues to work hard to earn her place in Country Music.
